A CHACARERA FOR BASTILLE
My Argentinian colleagues and I were asked to compose a Chacarera for this well-known band, of which I have become a fan. The song featured in the ad to promote the band’s tour in Argentina and so did we! We gave this chacarera as a humble present to the guys from Bastille, who did a terrific job in learning it in very few minutes. Here I would like to share the lyrics in Spanish and English with you as well:
Vamos siguiendo la huella de la esperanza. En la cima de este cerro nos vamos a encontrar.
Ya llegó la primavera y el frío no se va, pero junto a Bastille vamos todos a bailar.
Con un mate y un charango nos podemos alentar, ¡tocando la chacarera en la Peña sin parar!
Here we go following the mark of hope. At the top of this mountain we shall encounter. Springtime has arrived and the cold doesn’t want to go. It doesn’t matter because with Bastille we’re all going to dance. With a mate and a charango we can cheer ourselves up. Playing at the Folk Club non stop Chacarera!

SIGLO XXI TANGO EVENT
A XXI century Tango event happens to be Queer Tango on the Thames, celebrated at the legendary Southbank Centre, in London. I have the pleasure to play one more time in duo with Simon Morris on guitar.
TANGO DUO PERFORMANCE AT SOUTHBANK CENTRE TERRACE
We were delighted to see all The Queer Tango on the Thames dancers enjoying themselves while dancing and listening to our live music. The fantastic riverside location in London was enhanced by the summery weather.
CORINA PIATTI/JAVIER FIORAMONTI DUO LIVE AT NOW GALLERY
London based Argentinian ceramic artist and painter KINSKA gave me the honour of being the live music act at the opening party of her exhibition at Now Gallery, called: “My Opera House”, which has been on from July 4th till September 22nd 2019. This live music performance in duo with Javier Fioramonti on guitar in North Greenwich, London, gave me a great pleasure. Javier was one of my guest musicians on Calma, my album, and together we played the songs he featured in, along with other original pieces and of course, a few tanguitos.
RADIO INTERVIEW FROM NEW YORK
The radio show La Piecita Del Fondo, hosted by Ricardo Vera at Houseradio.us is having me on Friday, 10th of July 2020. I will tell the Latin Communities about my music steps all the way from Santa Fe, Argentina, to London, U.K.
NOT A FAIRY TALE...
CAMINITO: The Path of Music
I was born in a village called Arteaga, in Santa Fe, Argentina.
I’ve been singing and songwriting since I was a child.
When I was 16, I had my first guitar lessons with a local teacher. Two years later, I began my solo career, playing at bars, restaurants, events and also busking.
Although I am mainly a self taught musician, I have completed studies at The Sebastian Piana Institute in Buenos Aires and The London Centre of Contemporary Music, LCCM, in London.
Along my music journey through Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France and the U.K., I took part in several projects from what I have learnt and grown a lot. Some of these are: Tango 44, Los Mareados, Los Piantados, Simple Tango, Warmi, and many more.
In 2016 I have produced and released “Calma”, my first album with original compositions.
Whilst I am a versatile musician who covers jazz and rock/pop/folk styles, I have been more in demand as a Tango singer than anything else in recent years.
In 2018 I was Runner Up Best Latino Vocalist in the UK, from Lukas Awards.
Se dice de mí...
A studio album with original compositions and a Live Tango Music Performance
Compositions for Voice and Guitar
This album contains a selection of original songs, since my teens to my thirties, from Arteaga to Buenos Aires, Barcelona and London. Six of my finest pieces of music have been carefully arranged by me to be pored into the studio with my wonderful guest musicians. Don't miss this incredible journey that I have prepared for you.
CORINA PIATTI EN VIVO EN EL ASERRADERO
An Intense Live Music Performance In Rosario, Argentina
Probably the most emotional live music performance I’ve ever done. With more than one hundred people in the room, in between I could count close friends and family members as well as the tango legend Cholo Montironi with whom I’ve had the pleasure to perform at the end of the night. This album hasn’t been edited yet and you can only get it in CD format from me.
